Rewards
At Dundonald High School we believe in rewarding the excellent behaviour and academic success that our students achieve throughout the year. We do this in a number of ways including,
-
Public acknowledgement through presentations at assembly.
-
The award of positions of responsibility or opportunity to represent the school.
-
The school report system to comment on behaviour and on involvement in school activities as well as academic success.
-
Prizes which reflect achievement, progress and good attendance.
-
Certificates to celebrate work, progress and services to the school.
-
School outings for pupils who uphold the Code of Discipline.
-
Mention on the school web site.
The Positive Behaviour Programme runs in conjunction with the Rewards Scheme. Pupils can earn points through good behaviour and a positive attitude to work. Pupils who achieve the target number of points qualify for the rewards.
